There’s a little shop in Midleton where stories drift through the air, told not in words, but in scent. And today, we’re lighting a candle in celebration because Flourish Emporium has just been named one of Ireland’s 100 Best Independent Shops by The Irish Independent.
To be recognised on a national stage, alongside so many brilliant businesses we admire, is a pinch-me moment. What began as a heartfelt dream just one woman, a love for storytelling and a deep belief in the magic of memory-filled fragrances has bloomed into something far beyond what I could have imagined. And it’s all because of you the customer who paused to breathe in a scent and felt something familiar… something comforting… something home.
As many of you know, our little emporium isn’t just a shop it’s a storybook, a memory lane, a place where your senses are invited to wander. And because we believe in always giving you our very best, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on something new.
Yes a little transformation is underway. The doors may look the same for now, but inside we’re curating something even more magical. We’re crafting an olfactory sensory destination a place where scent and story dance together even more beautifully. Think vintage apothecary charm, tactile displays, softly glowing candlelight, and scent journeys that stir the soul.
